How To Use video at Lush

 

An instruction video of Lush products without a copy for universal use on the social media platform

 
 

‘How To Use’ is one of the most popular content on Lush's YouTube channel.

 

Around 40 videos have been made including non-published videos since 2017.

 
 

My role

At the beginning I worked as an animator in the last step of production, but I expanded my role to the leading the whole project by making storyboards and art directing as well as motion graphic.

Process

Storyboard > Shoot > Edit > Animation > Sound > Publish

Storyboard

I made a storyboard template for in-house team and it was a great tool to communicate with other teams who don’t know much about video or animation. It saved lots of time and money before starting the actual production.

Graphic style

  • Cute, clean, and simple to represent Lush’s uplifting and bold vibe

Title mockup

  • For faster process, I make a title mock up shot with product photos to check a right colourama and good layout in set.
